The Bay Care Health System is in the process of moving eleven sites to a Phase II Cerner nursing documentation by early 2011. Phase III is a full CPOE on the Cerner System that will include prescription writer by 2012 at all sites except for one new Hospital, St. Joe’s North. St. Joe’s North went live as a full CPOE all digital site. St Joe’s North is the first new hospital in the greater Tampa area in past thirty years. St Joe’s offers the following services:

Bay Care Health System upgraded to Cerner 2007.19.07 with enhanced medication reconciliation from 2007.16. The project was fourteen weeks from start to finish, which is a very fast timeline. The Bay Care team worked closely with Cerner team to manage any and all issues. The timeline was met even with a three week delay due to up-time steps in MOCK domain failing.
