Health Data Specialists, LLC (HDS) is pleased to announce the creation of a new Project Management Practice. This new service begins on May 17, 2010. The Practice Leader will be Ken Thompson with the position of Director – Project Management Practice.
The Project Management Practice will focus on HealthCare Program / Project Management, Project Management Office (PMO) formation and execution, as well as Portfolio Management and Operations to include Demand Management. This practice will add a wealth of services that Health Data Specialist can offer and provide its current customer base as well as all future customers.
Our Director – Project Management Practice comes with over 14 years of HealthCare experience specializing in Program / Project Management. Ken has setup many HealthCare System Project Management Offices (PMO) to include St Josephs, Centura, Continuum Health Partners, and HealthCare Services Corporation to name but a few. At each of these locations, a PMO was established, a Portfolio Management Methodology (PMM) was instituted, Demand Management accounted for all known and identified project work as well as prioritization of that work for the organization, and a Project Management Information System (PMIS) installed and utilized for successful PMO Operations.
Heath Data Specialist is pleased to now offer these services to our customers:
1. Program / Project Management for execution of specific work.
2. Portfolio Management for managing overall body of work to include Demand Management.
