Position > Siemens Soarian CPOE Application Analyst(s)

Skill Set:  Clinical experience, RN/BSN, RPh., PharmD, RRT, PA, FNP, MD.  Must have at least one of the following experiences; Siemens Soarian Orders, and or CPOE project experience.  Ideal candidate will have previous project experience with a Soarian CPOE project.

Statement of work effort:  Brings clinical and/or Soarian application expertise to the project.  Advocates for the end user community and ensures that design decisions do not cause risk or compromised application functionality throughout the implementation.  Brings application related expertise and serves as a primary contact with the Vendor for issue logging, tracking and resolution.  Facilitates design efforts with the subject matter experts based upon application needs.  Will build database as required to facilitate decisions, demonstrate functionality or help complete build tasks as assigned, (build is not the primary responsibility).  Actively participates in the project team meetings to understand/facilitate the system design and build process.  Actively participates in the future state of work flow for CPOE by providing functional knowledge of options or challenged presented by the system. 

Will help with authoring of order sets within the ProVation tool and will participate in the design of content into CPOE order sets using ProVation tools. 

Consultant may be asked to support and or lead process decision processes by coordinating groups of clinicians and presenting work flow challenges not covered by the Vendor’s standard design task plan.  Example of this might be the working through of future state process for admission of an internal medicine patient; looking at department impact if the transport of the patient to the floor is delayed by several hours. 

Consultants will be asked to help design testing program, and will be asked to help author or revise existing testing scripts.  Consultants will also be asked to assist with the development of education outlines and QA proposed curriculum content.  May be asked to assist the client with the delivery of education to physicians, nurses, pharmacists and or ancillary department personnel.  May be asked to assist with the upgrade testing and successful completion of the anticipated upgrade of Soarian to version 3.2 in May 2011.
