Bob’s experience includes thirty-eight plus years of experience in information systems management. He has supported three university teaching hospitals, provided facility management services, served as President of HealthCare Data Systems, Inc., and CIO for St. Francis Regional Medical Center and St. Joseph Medical Center.  Bob was the founder and principal owner of First Choice Consulting Inc. and served as President and CEO until it was sold in July of 1999. During that period the Company expanded to over 70 employees of which over 60 were consultants.

Paul’s experience includes twenty-four plus years of experience in information systems applications and management including over twenty-one years in Healthcare and the last eight years in Healthcare consulting. Most recently Paul served as the Vice President for the Health Information Systems consulting group of Park City Solutions responsible for 35 consultants. Paul’s extensive Healthcare consulting responsibilities included project management, interim management, project planning, system implementation and support, etc.

Brent’s experience includes fourteen plus years of Healthcare information systems applications and management experience. Twelve of the fourteen years included extensive experience in project management and personnel management in addition to detailed involvement in operations and hospital client system activities. Brent was also a co-Owner/Director of First Choice Consulting where he has a proven record of establishing solid relationships with the Healthcare customer community.

Troy’s experience includes fourteen plus years of Healthcare information systems, application, management and consulting sales experience. Prior to joining HDS Troy served as Business Development Manager of the Southeastern United States responsible for Healthcare information consulting sales. In addition, Troy was responsible for maintaining current customer relationships and developing new accounts.

Richard has over 20 years of experience in Healthcare IT sales and has worked for several of the top companies in the Healthcare IT market.

Steve has over 12 years of healthcare experience in various account management, sales management, training and consulting roles at General Electric, Cardinal Health and ChartOne. He spent over 7 years with GE Healthcare, the majority of which was in business development for their healthcare consultancy focusing primarily on operations management, process improvement, and quality solutions. He also served as the Western VP of sales for an EHR workflow solutions division of ChartOne. Steve is green belt certified in Lean Six Sigma and has an MBA from Pepperdine University

JC has extensive experience in sales and marketing of IT professional services in the Siemens, Cerner, Epic, Meditech, and Project Management services product lines. JC is a graduate of the University of Kansas where he received a Bachelors of Arts in Biology degree. He lives in Prairie Village, Kansas.

Barry’s experience includes 16 years of Healthcare information systems applications and management experience. He worked for Siemens for a period of time and has been in the consulting services industry for over 10 years. Barry has an extensive background with all aspects of the Invision application; clinical, financial and patient management. In addition, he has assisted many of our clients with Project Management services that include system implementations, project assessments, and enhancements. Barry has been part of a Soarian financial implementation and his understanding of hospital workflow and process will be a key component to the transition of our Siemens consulting services to the next generation of applications.

Claudia has over 30 years of combined experience in direct patient care and the management of large scale Healthcare Information Systems application implementations. She has extensive experience designing and building in the Epic suite of clinical applications both for the Ambulatory and Inpatient environments. Claudia is Epic Certified in EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient Orders, EpicCare Clinical Documentation, and Clarity. She has also trained on Cadence, Chronicles Install Utilities, Integrated Referrals and AffiliateLink. She possesses an excellent skillset and understanding of all aspects of hospital and clinic workflows. She has assisted clients with Project management and the development of Project Charters, Scope Definition documents, Strategic timelines as well as providing hands-on build support for go-live and post go-live optimization.

Steve’s experience includes 19 years of Healthcare information systems applications and management experience. Seventeen of the nineteen years included Cerner employment. During this time, Steve’s experience included consulting analyst for PathNet, Project Management for Classic and Millennium, Solutions Team Leader for PathNet and RadNet, Regional Support Coordinator, and Engagement Leader. Steve has a good understanding of Cerner’s Method M methodology. Steve is a med tech and has a good understanding of healthcare processes and workflow.

As Employee Services Representative, Cheryle Bauer brings more than 20 years of recruiting experience including 18 years in healthcare executive search for healthcare facilities, consulting firms and healthcare vendors. She also has a strong track record in staff retention, employee satisfaction, mentoring, and is skilled in the areas of human resources management. Her previous roles have encompassed ownership of an executive search firm where she managed 20-25 executive search professionals along with operational responsibilities. She attained CPC certification (Certified Personnel Consultant) and attended Georgia State University.
